I don’t know about you all, but as much as I love going to the grocery store, sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming. So many aisles, so many products, so many labels. Which products do I need in my pantry? What foods are going to be the ones that I need to help me live a healthy lifestyle?
Well, the following guides have been very useful in helping me navigate the grocery store and staying clear from any unnecessary purchases.
- By sticking to the perimeter of the grocery store I am able to pickup many of the essential foods I use frequently. Most of the fresh food items are found on the perimeter of the store whereas most of the packaged and processed food items are found in the aisles. There are some exceptions such as spices and cooking oils which would be found in the baking aisle.
- In addition to cutting down on frivolous purchases, knowing the basic layout of a grocery store has helped in reducing my grocery shopping time (definitely a bonus in the busy lives we all lead)!
